About the Race

Come join in the fun at the “world famous” Resolution Run celebration. There will be lots of great live music and entertainment for all participants, guest, and family INSIDE the Addison Conference Centre! Have some fun without breaking your New Year’s resolution! There will be plenty for all to do. Lots of food, beverage (including beer), outrageous prizes, and kid friendly entertainment to make this a party. Come share your resolution with us for motivation or come get advice from our sponsors on how to keep that resolution going strong all year long!! This run and celebration had the highest runner rating of all Addison events in 2006!

Please keep in mind this is a charity event with all proceeds benefiting Angel Flight and the Addison Midday Rotary service projects so remember to bring cash to participate in the Resolution Raffles.

The top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K for the following age groups will win unique awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-85, 85 , and overall and masters male and female winners. Awards will be 5 deep in the 60 groups. The depth of awards in other groups will be determined by number of entries.

There will be a parent and child division. The top combined time of the parent and child will qualify for awards.

Each child finishing the 1K will receive a finisher medal.

Champion Chip Timing

Champion chip timing will be used. Chips will be available on race day, and they must be turned in after the race. Chips must be surrendered after the run or a fee will be charged. You must wear a chip to get a time. There is a $35 fee to replace lost chips. Awards are based on gun time.

Parking

Parking is available at the Addison Conference Centre. Overflow parking is available in the Addison Events district. Arrive early. Please pay attention to No Parking and Tow Away signs in Addison.
